Beneath Dubai’s scorching sun and neon glow, within a labyrinth forged by gold and code,
“Finance · Nothingness” unfolds as a philosophical theater of value, belief, and nothingness.
Chinese artist Qinglu Liu weaponizes his signature symbolic art to collide the raw texture of
the Middle Eastern desert with the abstract logic of digital economies: When currency detaches
from gold’s anchorage to become a pure credit symbol, can art and the horizon still serve as
eternal totems for humanity’s spiritual world in an age of financial capitalism?

This exhibition presents Liu’s latest series, derived from the universally adored “Astronaut Deer”.
Their metallic sheen and pristine eyes seem lost in the vast cosmos, yet they march resolutely
along a golden brick road toward an uncertain endpoint.


The astronaut, a concept ceaselessly debated yet eternally unsolved, embodies humanity’s romantic
fantasy of stars and seas. Art, a discipline alternately glorified and dismissed as obsolete, now faces its
ultimate trial in AI Year 1— its impending obsolescence by cold algorithms seems inevitable.
Yet in Qinglu Liu’s hands, the deer from enamel cups steeped in childhood memories merges with
astronauts carrying futuristic aspirations, their metallic surfaces articulating a primal yearning:
Perhaps technology’s ultimate destination lies in the faint tenderness of human nature.

本展視覺設計的核心在於：如何將「加密貨幣的理性邏輯」與「實體藝術的感性溫度」在視覺維度上完美鎔鑄。
我精準提取了藝術家極具標誌性的「太空人」視覺符號作為視覺定錨 。
畫面中那閃耀著璀璨金屬光澤的頭盔，不僅承載了人類對未知宇宙的浪漫幻想，更隱喻著當代社會在物質與精神間的迷惘。
面對極度飽和且充滿張力的主視覺圖像，我在字體與版面編排上選擇了高度的理性克制。
透過洗鍊的無襯線字體與精準的空間留白，在畫面上創造出「Finance（金融）」與「Nothingness（虛無）」 的對立與平衡，
讓觀者在強烈的視覺衝擊後，仍能擁有一方沉靜思考的空間。
